Bas-Relief for CNC Carving with Blender

Another thing you can do with Blender is to transform an entire 3D scene to bas-relief for CNC wood carving. The code is not included yet in actual version (2.49a) of Blender but a patch is provided so, you can build it yourself.

Image examples:

  1. nice job but can you tell me how to convert STL files to GCODE ? i use EMC2 and not found a good solution.

  2. Hi,
I don't know yet, not searched too much, but here ( http://www.varicad.com/en/home/ ) you can have a 30 days fully functional CAD/CAM software on Linux (useful if you have something urgent to solve).

    Or maybe FreeMill (under Windoze)
